I saw this on another site as well. Apparently UNC attempted to "plea bargain", and the NCAA rejected the offer. Maybe UNC wanted them to include an admission that they have no legitimacy.

"UNC originally intended to issue a statement about the hearing but then decided not to, citing NCAA rules that prohibit comment."

Why stop breaking NCAA rules now, Carolina?

Soooo, say you're 1 of 13 close-knit family members, and every year for the past (???), say, 3 decades plus, you've all gotten together and gone to Vegas for the weekend. And, when the 13 of you walked into that exact same casino every year after year, after year... for all of those years and decades, and when knowing that that casino was ALWAYS going to be loaded to a capacity of 25,000 to just under a little over 29,000 people. And yet, somehow, you knew full well that OVER HALF, that's SEVEN at the very least, of you and your other 12 family members, even against those incredibly outrageous odds, 7 of you would walk away with the prize that everyone else supposedly knew about and those other 29,000 other regular people could have just as easily taken away from those 13 of you?

Math, I knew it at one time??? Anyway, will someone please take the numbers contained my garbled scenario above, and give the odds for 7 (at least) out of those same 13 participants, walking into same casino, and WINNING, not only ONE TIME, but to repeat that same astronomically unfathomable winning streak for the past 19 YEARS (again, at the VERY LEAST) CONSECUTIVELY?

I'd really love to go Vegas with UNC's "available to everyone," and their guaranteed odds, wouldn't you? I mean, they are always available and at the ready for anyone who is a real "player," that is.

Also, just looking around and noticed that UNC openly boasts of a 14:1 student/faculty ratio. AND... that, UNC proudly promotes that 42.3% of their classes contain less than 20 students.

I thought it might be (???) of interest to point out those statistics, because one might be wondering how those typically wonderful, and oh so admirable, UNC class ratios align with those of the AFAM Department? If there is any consistency involved at all, then the men's BB roster participation in the AFAM Department alone, was responsible for occupying over 1/3 of the available seating involved in those 'AVERAGE' 20 seat "classes"? Sooo, uhhh, just wondering, but the football players? Sylvia Hatchell's (OH NO!!!) women's BB players? The baseball team, softball, soccer, lacrosse, swimming, wrestling, field hockey, water polo, golf, the tree hugging team, the poetry writing squad, and etc... Just sayin', those last two are generally considered the really heavy lifters over there on that campus, ya know?

Joking aside, if these ridiculously out of wack numbers somehow manage to work in UNC's 'favor'(what tha... ???), well then, let's all just go ahead, close up shop, and simply forget about any possibility of actual reality ever being a factor in our lives, ever again.

It is amazing the only way to see the majors of the 2005 UNC MBB championship team that they are sooooo proud of is a screen grab by the INDY Star. All UNC sites have been purged. But here it is for your records:

I'll admit to not knowing how manipulate documents and being computer illiterate, as well stating that I could see how UNC would want make all of their men's BB grades so incredibly tiny that there is absolutely no way in hell that anyone could even begin to comprehend them, but c'mon backdpack, is that link really supposed to legible, or are you just pulling our leg? If it actually is legible, I am dying to see it! That said, will someone please walk me through the steps of how to make appear bigger than a postage stamp on my computer screen? Thanks in advance
